No Frills Field Camping — What you need to know!

CHECK-IN: Gate opens at 10am on Friday, July 8th. Gate closes at 9pm Friday and will reopen Saturday at 10am
2 tents and 6 person max per site. 3-day General Admission tickets are required for all camping guests. No Frills Camping is good for 3 nights (Friday 11am – Monday 10am). Folks camping here must park in the general admission parking lot and walk in with their stuff, so pack smart! And since you will be parked in the GA parking lot, don’t forget to purchase a parking permit for each vehicle – $10 available in advance or at the door. (Carpooling encouraged).
WHEN YOU ARRIVE:
1) Arrive and park in the general admission parking lot.
2) Pack your gear on your back or you’re welcome to bring a non-motorized “little red wagon” or cart and head to the main ticket gate. Note: The walking distance between where you park and where you will set up your tent will be between 100 and 300 yards.
3) We will check you in at the gate and direct you to the correct camping area. Individual camping spots are first come, first serve.
GENERAL INFO: You get a nice, flat 15′ X 15: plot to set up your tent(s), chairs and maybe a foosball table…as long as it fits, go for it! The sites are nice, but it’s not glamping – no hook-ups for electricity or water. No Pets. No fires, and most importantly, no cars.
QUIET HOURS: Please observe quiet hours throughout the campground between 2 a.m. and 8 a.m. each night. And please be considerate, respectful neighbors to other campers 24-7.
FIRES: NO FIRES ALLOWED, including NO charcoal grills, in the entire No Frills Field Camping Area. NO EXCEPTIONS!
SHOWERS: Please keep showers to less than 5 minutes. Remember that we’re all in this together. Be sure to turn off all taps. Don’t waste water!
WHAT TO BRING: Clothing for all types of weather, rain and sun! Flash lights, earplugs, reusable bottles for water, trash bags, bug spray, sunscreen and all your usual camping gear! Positive attitudes!
ICE & MORE: Ice, and a bunch of other stuff, is available for purchase at the Red Wing General Store located very close by and marked on your site map.
POOL: The pool will be open 10am-7pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Fee is $2 for ages 6 & under and $3 for ages 7+.
The NO List: No Pets, firearms or weapons, golf carts, ATV’s, outside alcohol or fires.
